Welcome to the first Kre8tors Blog Hop! I am so excited to be apart of some amazing and talent women. Today, I want to introduce you to our 2018 Occasions catalog with this amazing and versatile Beautiful Day stamp set. I have created 2 cards using the same set but provides such a different look.
With the flower, I colored the stamped image using the new alcohol markers Blends: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, the bronze and the highlighter. In the card below I used both the light and dark markers to provide a shaded effect to the stamped image. This image is very quick and easy to fussy cut to pop up on any card. To make this card pop, creating a stamped background by stamping full strength and doing a second generation stamping of the background. Add some ribbon, glitter dots to make a very quick and beautiful card.
The butterfly was done by creating a fun background using the new Brusho’s. When using the Brusho pigment ink powders remember no background will turn out the same but is addictive once you start. I simply took watercolor paper, spritzed with water and sprinkled the Prussia Blue and Moss Green all over the background. The more water you add the more blending the colors will due. Once the background is dried, simply stamp the image, add your sentiment. By adding the glitter dots and linen thread which completes this card.
All the products and measurements you would need for this project are listed below. Remember to check out the other members blog as well to be inspired in your creative journey.
Thank you and make every moment a memory, Maria
